His passion for family integrated care and supporting families in the neonatal unit has led to the development of the Neo-SILT Study (Neonatal- Someone is Listening to Trauma)- the largest study in the world exploring the prevalence and predictors of PTSD in parents when they have an infant admitted to a neonatal unit. The study was co-designed with parents and healthcare staff, exploring PTSD, sleep, stress, ACEs and BCEs over a 12 month period following a neonatal admission.
