Foster Wales is the national network of not-for-profit local authority fostering services in Wales. Our focus is simple: finding safe, loving homes for local children and young people, while providing foster carers with expert support, training and guidance every step of the way. We welcome people from all backgrounds, cultures and walks of life. Whether you’re single, married, working, retired, renting or own your home, fostering could be an option for you. There are many different ways to foster, including short-term, long-term, short breaks, emergency and sibling fostering. We also offer Parent and Child fostering, where carers support a parent and their baby or young child to live together in a safe environment while parenting skills and family relationships are strengthened and nurtured. As part of your local authority, every decision we make puts children first. By fostering with Foster Wales, you’ll help local children stay connected to their communities, schools and support networks while giving them the stability they need to thrive.
