Dr Maeve Anne O’Connell is a Lecturer in Midwifery at University College Cork, Ireland. She has over 20 years’ experience across Ireland, the UK, and the UAE in both clinical practice and midwifery education. Her work focuses on woman-centred care, perinatal mental health, and midwifery education. Maeve is passionate about protecting the philosophy of midwifery within evolving maternity systems.
