Bonita Tittrea

Bonita is a first-year student midwife at the University of Birmingham and serves as the Social Media Representative for the Midwifery Society. In this role, she helps build an engaging and inclusive online presence, connecting student midwives and creating a supportive community.

Bonita supports applicant interviews, open days, and offer holder events in addition to her studies as a Student Ambassador. She hopes to encourage and mentor aspiring students who are thinking about a future in midwifery through this.

Bonita is passionate about creating a calm, comfortable, and supportive environment where women feel safe, respected, and empowered throughout their labour experience. She values the importance of kindness, reassurance, and dignity in care, aiming to make each experience as positive as possible. Alongside this, she is dedicated to seeking out opportunities for student midwives to have their voices heard and valued. Bonita is also committed to her own growth, actively looking for opportunities to develop her knowledge, strengthen her skills, and progress throughout her midwifery training.
