Deborah Williams

Deborah is a first-year student midwife at the University of Birmingham, currently undertaking her clinical placement at Good Hope Hospital. She previously studied A-level Psychology, Biology, and Religious Education, before completing a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Health and Social Care, where she developed a strong foundation in person-centred care.

Alongside her studies, Deborah works as a Personal Support Worker with Midland Mencap and also runs her own business as a self-employed wax therapist. Through these roles, she has gained valuable experience in supporting individuals with diverse needs, strengthening her communication skills and compassion in practice.

Deborah has developed a strong passion for caring for others and is committed to providing safe, respectful, and holistic care to women and their families. She is particularly interested in building trusting relationships and supporting individuals through significant life experiences with empathy and dignity.

With a growing enthusiasm for midwifery, Deborah is dedicated to developing her clinical skills and contributing positively to the experiences of the women and families she supports.
