Ashleigh Gallagher

Ashleigh Gallagher qualified as a midwife in 2009 and has worked across various departments within NHS Fife, gaining broad experience in maternity care and most recently within the consultant led unit.

She brings her clinical experience to leadership and service development, with a commitment to supporting women, families and colleagues across maternity services.

Through her work with bereavement over the years in a high-risk clinical area, a donation from one family inspired Ashleigh to explore redesigning an existing space within the consultant led unit, leading to the development of the Cherry Blossom Suite.  The project was completed in September 2025 and supported by the generosity of various donors.  Ashleigh is committed to delivering compassionate, person-centered care and adapting space to reflect the needs of women, families and staff.
