Dr Jenny Hall

Jenny has been creatively educating for midwifery all her career, in practice, publication or higher education. Her passion is to view women’s needs holistically, including recognising spirituality. Recent research topics include spirituality, promoting dignity and respect in education and the human rights experiences of disabled women. She encourages reflective practice, particularly using artistic methods and has further interest in educating for Sustainable Development. She is Fellow of the Royal College of Midwives and Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. She is an experienced author and editor, previously editor of The Practising Midwife. She is currently working more flexibly and is helping develop educational box set videos, alongside education and research projects.
