Dr Denise Tiran HonDUniv FRCM MSc RM PGCEA is a freelance midwifery lecturer and internationally renowned authority on complementary therapies in midwifery. She is CEO / Education Director for Expectancy, which is unique, worldwide in providing complementary therapy courses for midwives, and busienss training for midwives wanting to offer maternity therapies in private practice. Previously, at the University of Greenwich, London, Denise developed the UK’s first practice-based BSc (Hons) degre before establishing Expectancy, in 2004. Denise was awarded an Honorary Doctorate from the University of Greenwich and a prestigious Fellowship from the Royal College of Midwives in recognition of over 40 year’s work in this specialism.
