The Sick Film is a soon to be released short film production by presenter Charlotte Howden and Good Guys Productions.
Charlotte suffered with Hyperemesis Gravidarum (HG), which is severe nausea and vomiting in pregnancy in 2015, with her son Henry, who is now 3.
It has taken her those 3 years to recover both physically and mentally from the condition. She now wants to raise awareness of the condition, and in particular move for change to the way women are treated, supported and medicated through the condition.
The Sick Film explores the reality of living with HG, far from royal glamour the disease takes over a woman’s body both physically and mentally, at what should be the happiest time of her life.
