Emily Henson is the National Perinatal Peer Support Manager at NCT, where she leads with purpose and compassion to ensure that every parent is met with understanding and meaningful support. Since joining the organisation in February 2024, she has brought a wealth of experience from her 15-year career within the criminal justice system, where she worked closely with vulnerable individuals and families facing complex challenges.
Now a passionate advocate for perinatal mental health, she champions NCT Parents in Mind, a service she believes is transformative in the lives of so many mothers and birthing people, fathers and non birthing parents. Her work centres on the power of peer support—building bridges of empathy, shared experience, and hope. With a unique blend of strategic insight and human connection, she is helping shape a future where no parent feels alone.
