Breathe Melodies Programme Ambassador
Lucy Scott took part in the 10-week Breathe Melodies for Mums programme at Stanley Arts in South Norwood in Summer 2025, funded by Croydon Council. She joined the group when her baby was just seven weeks old and quickly formed a strong bond with fellow participants.
Since completing the programme, Lucy has become an ambassador for Breathe, helping to raise awareness of the importance of accessible mental health support in early motherhood. She has shared her experience through a film for BBC News and an appearance on BBC Woman’s Hour.
Lucy is a teacher and joins Breathe Arts Health Research to share her lived experience with the London Maternity & Midwifery Festival audience.
