Since qualifying as a midwife in 2003, Natalie van Rooyen has built a diverse and compassionate career grounded in supporting families through every stage of pregnancy and early parenthood. She has worked in caseload and community midwifery models, gaining a deep understanding of continuity of care and the varied needs of expectant parents. In addition to her clinical expertise, Natalie is a qualified cognitive hypnotherapist, baby massage instructor, and baby yoga instructor, bringing a holistic approach to her practice. These complementary skills allow her to empower families with practical tools for relaxation, bonding, and emotional wellbeing. Natalie now serves as a Parent Education Specialist Midwife at The Royal Surrey Hospital, where she designs and facilitates comprehensive educational programs that blend evidence-based guidance with mindful, family-centred support. Known for her calm presence and inclusive teaching style, she is dedicated to helping parents feel informed, confident, and connected throughout their journey.
