Lead Professional Midwifery Advocate, West Hertfordshire Teaching
Tracy trained to be a midwife as a second career. Having grown up in the USA, midwifery never crossed her mind until she’d had some babies in the UK. Tracy’s favourite area of clinical work is on the postnatal ward (which she readily recognises is not an opinion shared by everyone). She currently works as the Lead Professional Midwifery Advocate at West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust, and otherwise spends lots of her time reading, singing, and battling the weeds in her allotment.
