London Maternity & Midwifery Festival 2027

Wednesday 10 February 2027 | ISHVenues 229 Great Portland St, London W1W 5PN

New format, free to attend, Maternity & Midwifery Festivals for 2027

Nearly 400 practising and student healthcare professionals joined us at the venue earlier this year for the 2026 London Maternity and Midwifery Festival.

See our highlights video below:

Free to attend, the Festival brings together maternity, midwifery and early years professionals from across the South of England and beyond.  The programme combines expert presentations, interactive sessions, practical workshops, networking and a diverse exhibition — with the full programme also streamed online and made available afterwards as part of the Festival’s video box set.

Including content on women & infants health, midwifery education, neonatal, health visiting, mental health nursing and maternity, the festival will reflect the increasingly multidisciplinary nature of maternity and early years care.

The Festival is designed not simply as a day of presentations, but as an opportunity for professionals at every stage of their careers to update their knowledge, develop new skills, plan their CPD and revalidation, and recharge their professional batteries.

With maternity professionals working through considerable pressures, the Festival aims to provide something that can sometimes be difficult to find in everyday working life: time to step back, learn, connect with colleagues and think about the future of the profession.

Whether you’re a practising or student midwife, maternity leader, educator, researcher, neonatal nurse, health visitor, mental health professional or another healthcare professional working with women and babies, the Festival offers a packed day of professional learning, discussion and connection
