Pre and Postnatal Depression Awareness Week Survey #PNDAW17

Are you a student or qualified Midwife or Health Visitor? If so this is your opportunity to contribute to #PNDAW17 – Pre and Postnatal Depression Awareness Week 2017.

PANDAS Foundation, in association with the Community Practitioners’ & Health Visitors’ Association, are wanting to hear from the Midwife and Health Visiting community – to hear directly from you what it’s like spotting, diagnosing and helping people with a prenatal (antenatal) mental illness and understand your role in the treatment of these mental illnesses during pregnancy.

So if you’ve got 5 minutes please take the survey here!

Your involvement is hugely appreciated and valued. Please feel free to share a link to the survey amongst your colleagues too. Thank you

The 4th-10th September 2017 is Pre and Postnatal Depression Awareness Week (#PNDAW17) and this year will be concentrating on Prenatal Mental illnesses including depression, anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder.

PANDAS Foundation spokesperson and volunteer Amy Dear, recently gave a talk at the Maternity, Midwifery and Baby Forum in Birmingham about pre and postnatal mental illnesses and what PANDAS Foundation does to help those affected by them. Watch the presentation below to find out more about this vital work.

The PANDAS Foundation helps support and advise any parent who is experiencing a perinatal mental illness.  They also inform and guide family members, carers, friends and employers as to how they can support someone who is suffering.
