We are the UK charity dedicated to supporting those touched by H.I.E. (Hypoxic-Ischaemic Encephalopathy). This is a lack of oxygen / blood flow to the brain of an infant and usually happens around the time of birth, but can happen in older children too.

H.I.E. events can have different outcomes, and the impact on the family can vary greatly.

We’re here to support wherever you may be on your journey – whatever the cause, outcome, age etc. We offer emotional, practical and financial support, and you’ll always find a kind welcome waiting for you.
