Marese Damery
Marese is Programme Manager for the Dying Well at Home Programme in Irish Hospice Foundation, this is a new programme which has been developing over the past few years. By listening to the voices of people with experience of providing care, a number of new resources have been developed for healthcare professionals, healthcare assistants, families and informal carers who provide care for someone who is dying at home, these resources include an eLearning Programme, Toolkit and a new Information and Support Line. Marese has a passionate interest in supporting people to die well with the care and support they need. She has a Nursing and Health Promotion background and worked in Health Promotion for 13 years, managing and leading out on health promotion projects and initiatives in the community and she has been managing programmes for nearly 20 years.
