Kelas birth is challenging but she and the persons who support her never doubts she will manage.

Anna has a lot of anxiety during the last two weeks of pregnancy because she doesnt know if she wants to give birth in the hospital or at home. When the water suddenly brakes there is no time to make a decision, twlve minutes afterwards she gives birth.

The images and the contemporary narrative about birth affect our expectations and also our experiences of childbirth. Often stories about births tell about pain and difficulties that the woman is saved from by the midwife or the doctor. While the other dimensions of birth – its profound existential meaning – is not accommodated at all.
In the exhibition the dimensions beyond the medical, appear, and also the possibilities that can be found in birth; what I call the Power of Love.
